What each number means
The board is deadpan about the numbers, but the numbers themselves are ordinary market data. Here is what each one is measuring — three of them have full plain-English explainers: distance from ATH, the break-even multiple and Bitcoin dominance.

| Price in sats | The same price expressed in satoshis — hundred-millionths of a bitcoin. Priced this way, a coin can be up in dollars and still down against Bitcoin, which is often the more honest comparison. |
| From ATH | How far below its all-time high the coin currently trades, as a percentage. −90% means nine tenths of the peak value is gone. |
| Break-even multiple | How many times the current price has to multiply to reach the old high again. Down 50% needs 2×. Down 90% needs 10×. Down 99% needs 100×. |
| 24-hour change | The move over the past day. Useful for context, useless as a prediction. |
| Market cap rank | Where the coin sits when every coin is ordered by total market value. |
| Bitcoin dominance | Bitcoin's share of the total value of all crypto. The remainder is everything else, combined. |
The asymmetry worth internalising: a 50% loss needs a 100% gain to undo, and a 90% loss needs a 900% gain. Losses and recoveries are not the same size, which is why "only down 90%" is doing a lot of work in that sentence.
Coins on the board
The board follows the top of the market by capitalisation, minus Bitcoin and stablecoins, so the lineup rotates itself as coins rise and fall. Right now that means live prices, ATH distance and break-even multiples for:

If a coin you hold is not on the board, it either became a stablecoin, left the top of the market, or fell far enough that the rankings stopped counting it. The board is not judging. The board is just sorted.
No account, no server in the middle
AltClock reads public market APIs straight from your browser. There is no backend of ours between you and the data, nothing to sign up for, and nothing to install. It never asks for a wallet, an exchange key, an email or a password, because it has nothing to connect them to.
You choose which coin the board watches, which numbers it cycles through and how fast, and whether it runs light or dark. Those settings live on your own device.
There is also a share sheet that renders the numbers currently on screen into a 1080×1920 card, sized for a Story. Live data, minimal sympathy.
Common questions
What does distance from all-time high actually mean?
It is how far below its record price a coin currently trades, as a percentage. A coin sitting 90% below its all-time high has lost nine tenths of its peak value, and needs a 10x move to get back to where it once was.
Why does a 90% drop need a 10x recovery?
Because percentages are not symmetrical. Falling from 100 to 10 is a 90% loss, but climbing from 10 back to 100 is a 900% gain. The deeper the drawdown, the more lopsided the maths gets, which is exactly what the Graveyard view is built to show.
What is Bitcoin dominance?
The share of total crypto market value that Bitcoin alone accounts for. If dominance reads 60%, then every other coin in existence adds up to the remaining 40% between them.
